Ariel is a light weight Contact Relationship Management system.
It grew out of my observation that many organisations find commercial CRM systems too complex and expensive.
These packages attempt to be all things to all people.
However their flexibility and capability mean they are expensive to acquire and set up.
Their complexity is quite daunting for some operators, especially volunteers who work in charities.
Ariel CRM is designed to fill that space between full blown CRM systems and keeping lists of contacts in Excel or Outlook.
- It is a light weight system: easy to install and learn.
- It is competent in recording contacts, recording information about contacts, finding contacts and reporting on contacts.
- It can be multi-user, and multi-database.
- It is disposable; you own the data. Data can be extracted from Ariel and imported into another system if you outgrow Ariel.
- Secure - Ariel has password protection and keeps an audit trail of changes made to data.
- It can be tailored to meet specific requirements.
